Case Study 1  Morgan Grenfell Asset Management Ltd The company was in the process of replacing their mainframe-based transaction-processing system with a bespoke client/server solution that consisted of seven coupled applications covering Front, middle and back-office applications, and had over 70 interfaces to in-house and external applications. The Skills House was asked to both appraise the current implementation approach, and to own the management of the implementation into live. This project took 12 months, and included non-functional testing (performance, volume, regression), the identification of the need and subsequent deployment of 950 NT4 workstations, and the final implementation approach was for a two-week parallel run.
