Technical Requirements Management Application
This is a requirements management tool. It allows all participants in a project to specify and update the requirements that relate to their area and view those of the project as a whole.

It tracks the requirements as they are captured and evolve and allows the various participants easily to see where there are gaps in the requirements set.

The benefits are twofold:

1) Saves money on a “per-project” basis by decreasing the amount of time spent by Infrastructure and /or architectural staff doing the following:

  • Disseminating technical teams’ information needs to other IT and business areas
  • Ensuring all technical requirements are represented to each project to the same or greater level of detail and importance as the functional business requirements.
  • Producing audit trails of changing project requirements during the project lifecycle

2) Reduces the risk of major project issues arising out of assumptions being made on such aspects as configuration management, software versions, environment requirements, capacity planning, application support, disaster recovery, etc

The application is web based so users can access it using a web browser on any PC on the company's intranet.

Interactive Process Charting
This application provides a graphical representation of a workflow or business process that can be interactive and show as much detail on different levels as is required

Of their many potential uses, the charts can be used to show:

  • who does what as an interactive organisational chart showing department functions, and relationships with other groups.
  • "How do we do it" as a process chart with drill-down functionality to publish the mechanics of a workflow, linking to the org. chart or other information.

The application is web based so users can access it using a web browser on any PC on the company's intranet.
